On the start page of your virtual classes you will see your class feed on the right side, here you as a teacher or student will be informed about the activities in your class (texts, tasks, posts, ...). |
Important updates on the activities of your class are also included in the microblog feeds of all class members, so that students or teachers are informed about the activities of your class immediately after logging in. |
In addition, students or teachers can also post messages in a class feed to exchange information and e.g. to talk about activities or topics. |
You will find your class feed on the right side on the start page of your virtual class, as well as on the feed page (via the tab at the top of the start page of your virtual class). |
As a teacher, you can also manually write messages to your class feed. You can also delete manually added messages. |
Your class feed will be automatically updated by the virtual class as soon as there are activities (text editing, tasks, blog posts, ...) in your class. |
Older messages automatically slide down or are no longer displayed if they are out of date. The length of the feed is limited, very old messages can no longer be retrieved. |
The virtual class automatically sends important updates to all microblogs of the class members. |
As a teacher, you can decide which web apps of the virtual class can send updates to your class feed and to the microblogs of the class members. |
Go to the start page of your virtual class and then click on "Settings" at the top. |
You can now turn each web app on or off for your feed. |
As a teacher or student, you can also turn off web apps yourself if you don't want this web app in this class to post messages to your microblog. |
Go to the start page of your virtual class and then click on "Feeds" at the top. |
You can now either switch off the entire class or individual apps. |
You can also turn email notifications on or off. |
You will find the discussion feed of your virtual class on the start page of your virtual class under "Feeds", here students or teachers can exchange information and e.g. to talk about activities or topics. |
Students and teachers can post messages. |
All members of the class can see, comment or like these messages. |
