Kontext / Contexte
Finding Balance in a frantic World. Yoga is about connection. Through the practice of movement, breathing and philosophy, we learn to connect with ourselves, to understand and be more aware of what it is we need to live our best balanced life. In order to be there for others, we need to make time for ourselves, to restore, reset and reconnect. During these three sessions, there will be focus on connection, fun and relaxation.

Les participant/e/s connaissent:
- how to use poses as a template to enhance optimal movement, flexibility, relaxation and to access the parasympathetic nervous system
- how to use different breathing techniques to enhance the quality of their breathing, relaxation and stress management
- how to use the practice of yoga to enhance the quality of life in order to thrive rather than to just survive
Savoir-faire
Les participant/e/s sont capables de:
- moving more optimally, using the poses as a template for movement and relaxation
- being more aware of their needs and understanding the benefits of yoga
- creating a ripple effect on those around them
Attitudes
Les participant/e/s sont amené/e/s à:
- identify their own needs
- learn techniques to deal with stress
- "put their own oxygen masks on first" before helping others
Inhalt / Contenu
Connection- Yang Yoga, a Hatha based more dynamic practice, where we find stillness in movement. Building connection with our body and mind.
Fun - We do Yoga to make us more content, Yoga, to enhance the quality of life and let go of things that do not serve us. Embracing our playful and creative nature
Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, a gentle, relaxing practice using long held poses and breath. Resting, restoring and replenishing.
