Zielsetzung / Objectifs
Knowledge
The participants will know:
- the difference between a learning disorder and a learning disability
- pedagogical support measures in dealing with these students
- interventions, adjustments and compensation methods in the classroom.
Know-how
The participants will be able to:
- apply the proposed adaptations and apps in their practice
- accompany the pupil in dealing with his / her iPad as a means of compensation in class
- organize help for themselves and the affected students.
Posture
The participants will:
- show understanding for students in difficult situations
- be appreciative in contact with these students and their parents
- accept the iPad as a means of compensating for the diagnosed learning disorder of the students
- reflect on and try out different interventions in everyday school life.
Inhalt / Contenu
- Theoretical background: learning disability or learning disorder?
- pedagogical support measures: promotion, adaptation, compensation
- why the iPad as a means of compensation?
- practical introduction to compensation with the iPad
- learning by doing on the iPad
- questions, reflection and exchange of experiences.
Arbeitsformen / Approche méthodologique
- Interactive theory input: lecture combined with discussion
- concrete testing and manipulation on the iPad.

Remarques / Anmerkung
All three participants have their own iPad or the school iPad during the training as there will be many manipulations to do on them. The iPads should all be updated to the latest iPadOS and charged up. The apps we will use should already be on the iPads and also updated to their latest version (List of apps will be sent to participants).
