Kontext / Contexte
Through discussion with colleagues in my school and others there appears to be a need to go through not just the basics role of a "régent" but also to know how to do the technical aspects such as generating absence statistics.
This will also be an opportunity for discussion as we all will have similar needs and experiences.
- Participants must have a basic understanding of Webuntis
- participants must understand the basic role of the "régent" including what is a class council
- it would also help that participants know the assessment criteria for the different year groups.
Zielsetzung / Objectifs
Knowledge
The participants will know about the role of a "régent".

The participants will be able to:
- generate absence reports on Webuntis
- plan class councils.

The participants will reflect upon their role as a "régent".
Inhalt / Contenu
- The use of Webuntis:
* check absences
* generate absence reports and statistics to prepare for the class council
- absences:
* what can be accepted by the "régent"
* the difference between justified and non justified
* medical certificates
* keeping absences
- preparing for a class council:
* having a general overview of the class
* preparing absence reports
* the need of pre-class councils
- the class council:
* chairing
* the language to be used on a report
* warnings to be given
* the need to inform parents.
Arbeitsformen / Approche méthodologique
- Discussions involving real examples
- participants are expected to have access to Webuntis so that they can follow in real time and generate their own reports
- we will discuss why language matters on a report and how to be efficient in a class council using the vast experience of the group.

Remarques / Anmerkung
The MS Teams training requires a Microsoft Teams connection, a microphone and a camera to attend the course (PC or laptop, no iPad or smartphone). You will be added to your group in Teams one working day before the first session. If possible, please connect to MS Teams 5 minutes before the webinar starts.
