We kindly invite you to join us in celebrating twenty years of Teachers’ Day. Let us reminisce about the highlights of past Teachers’ Days in the Musiksaal (Bldg. C5 1). We are delighted to announce that the duo ? Finn Gets Famous? will be our musical guest for the evening. Drinks and snacks will be provided.
Zielsetzung / Objectifs
Knowledge
The participants will learn:
-concrete digital examples for teaching English
- how to improve student writing with AI tools
- how to interact with pictures and photographs.
Know-how
The participants will be able to:
- know some techniques of plurilingual examples and strategies for motivating students and enhancing their communication skills, while at the same time increasing their awareness of the interplay of languages
- be aware of the advantages and disadvantages of TikTok in the EFL Classroom
- acquire the necessary skills to react appropriately in certain situations
- establish effective development goals in the advanced English classroom.
Posture
The participants will:
- reflect on their actions in the context of school and teacher development
- are willing to break new ground
-The participants will understand the importance motivating students and enhancing their communication skills.
Inhalt / Contenu
We cordially invite students, trainee teachers and teachers of English, and all other interested parties to participate in our plenary talk and workshops. Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided between sessions. We also look forward to seeing you at our traditional raffle at 4:15 pm.
